Elaia Coast
Elaia Coast was born from a simple idea: bikinis that truly make sense. Our client was in the early stages of launching a bikini line, one that focused not on trends, but on sustainability and purpose. She had a clear vision: to create products that every woman could feel confident and proud wearing, no matter who they are. To bring this vision to life, we partnered with Elaia Coast to create a fresh, imperfect brand identity that captures the sunny, carefree spirit of the coast. We also designed custom icons, illustrations, and patterns to beautifully complement their amazing bikini line.

So, the client actually started out with their own version of the logo, and I offered to give it a little refinement. But, it didn’t quite click. So, we dove into different versions together, and she eventually said she really wanted something fresh, imperfect, something that captured that fun, free-spirited vibe of the coast and the beach. So, we landed on this beautiful font called Bumiku, and we customized it to have this hand-drawn coral reef. I think it really pops!
The client also wanted a couple of illustrations and patterns, and the main sea creature she wanted was sand dollars. That was incorporated into the emblem but also used as an illustration element. Along with that, we created some hibiscus patterns, seashells, and waves to really bring out that coastal vibe, kind of like Outer Banks, which was the show I had in mind when I crafted these illustrations. In addition, she asked me to create some custom icons for her Instagram highlights, and just a few website icons that would really resonate with the brand.
